Week at the ‘nees

Well, as alluded in last week’s post – I have just spent a week in the Pyrenees in southern France. A small town called Luchon to be exact. Had a great week – some great rides with the guys from A Quick Release. But some long climbs – photos below.

One of the climbs – not too big, compared to others. Quite an amazing view.

Top of the above climb – everyone here seems to wear body armour. Some with just lycra and knee pads – not a good look.

This is the top of the Spanish ride – probably the longest ride of the trip. Some quite big mountains here – very pretty.

Jim-bob eating a baguette – these babies got us up many a long climb. Russ the chef makes a good one…

Another climb on the Spanish ride – but the descent was definately worth it. No photos of the descents, too busy riding. But take my word for it – they were all awesome.

I’m currently in London – here for another couple of days, before heading to Wales for the weekend. Then to Scotland next week, then back to London and off to Cape Town – South Efrika….
